Certified nursing aides answer patients' call signals. They also furnish patients with help walking and moving in and out of bed. They are often called upon to turn and reposition bedridden patients, alone or with assistance, to inhibit bedsores. They are expected to clean rooms and change linens. Finally, certified nursing aides transport clients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher.
