They also contact new and existing clients to consider their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services. Equally important, technical service representatives have to quote prices, credit terms and other bid specifications. They are often called upon to negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements. They are expected to inform clients of estimated delivery schedules or other data pertaining to purchased products.
