Educational program directors ready and submit budget requests and recommendations, or grant proposals to solicit program funding. They also ready or oversee the preparation and maintenance of attendance or personnel reports and records. Equally important, educational program directors have to talk with parents and staff to consider educational efforts and student behavioral or learning problems. They are often called upon to inspect and approve new programs, or recommend modifications to existing programs, submitting program proposals for school board approval as needed.
