They also contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities and selection. Equally important, employment recruiters have to interview applicants to obtain data on work history and job skills. They are often called upon to inform potential applicants about facilities and job or career opportunities in organizations. They are expected to screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when appropriate. Finally, employment recruiters inspect and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, in line with established guidelines and designated licensing codes.
