Business management analysts inspect forms and reports and talk with management about format and purpose. They also gather and organize data on problems or procedures. Equally important, business management analysts have to analyze data gathered and design solutions or alternative methods of proceeding. They are often called upon to talk with personnel to insure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. They are expected to layout and approve changes of forms and reports. Finally, business management analysts interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions and methods, equipment, and personnel used.
