They also transport materials and machines to installation sites, manually or using conveyance equipment. Equally important, bricklayer helpers have to trim materials to specified sizes for installation, using power saws or tile cutters. They are often called upon to arrange and store materials, machines and equipment. They are expected to furnish assistance in the preparation and/or rebuilding of tile or stone surfaces. Finally, bricklayer helpers modify material moving or cleaning procedures in line with installation or material requirements.
