Occupation Description
Medical Assistants perform administrative duties under the direction of a physician. These duties may include scheduling maintaining medical records, appointments, billing and coding for insurance purposes. Other clinical duties may include taking vital signs and medical histories, drawing blood, preparing patients, and administering medications as directed by a physician.
