Conservation Scientists manage and protect natural resources without damaging the environment. They may do this by conducting soil surveys, developing plans to protect rangelands from damage. They will instruct farmers, agricultural production managers, or ranchers in the best ways to use contour plowing, or crop rotation to conserve water and soil. They are not "Zoologists and Wildlife Biologists" and "Foresters".
