Airfield Operations Specialists ensure the safe takeoff and landing of commercial and military aircraft. Duties include: dispatching, coordination between air-traffic control and maintenance personnel, implementing airfield safety procedures, using airfield landing and navigational aids, applying knowledge of weather information, and monitoring and maintaining flight records.
